Denise is an Instructional Designer at the International Code Council, ICC near Chicago for over 11 years. She manages training projects and works with subject matter experts and production staff to create training workbooks and presentation materials for courses on building codes for architects, engineers, building officials and inspectors. Denise also is a visual communications expert with extensive background in the design of training materials.
She has been a college instructor at Joliet Junior College, teaching graphic design software and an instructor at Governors State University, teaching training techniques and message design. She has been president and board member of CISPI the Chicago Chapter of the International Society for Performance Improvement, and is currently learning Articulate to develop elearning courses.
Denise lives in Hickory Hills, Illinois with her husband George. She is in the Cantorres community choir and loves being near to her three grandchildren.

Her role is to work with senior leadershp to translate strategic goals and initiatives utilizing improvement science methodologies to drive improvement across the organization. She served on IACET Board of Directors from 2012-2015 and is currently a member of the Council of Standards. I have more than 20 years in early childhood education as well as instructional design, which includes a majority of that career dedicated to providing career and technical training. I am currently the Manager of Instructional Development at Florida Center for Interactive Media at Florida State University, leading a team of instructor designers. I am pursuing my doctorate, which focuses on professional development systems. Currently, I am the President of the National Association for Regulatory Administration (NARA), which is a professional association serving professionals dedicated to strengthening regulatory programs to protect individuals in out-of-home-care. I work as a consultant for the Florida Departement of Children and Families Office of Child Care Regulations and previously worked there as the statewide training specialist and quality assurance specialist. I currently serves as the vice chair of the local Early Learning Coalition, member of the Tallahassee Community College Early Childhood Education advisory board and serve on the statewide Career and Technical project advisory board. I am a current instructor and former Early Childhood Education Program Director at a community college, which offered both degrees and certificates for early childhood education.

Prior to this, Dr. Wright spent 32 years in the United States Army and retired as a Command Sergeant Major in 2008. Mary Ellen was a civilian member of the U.S.United States Department of Defense (DOD) for over 30 years and where she served in a myriad of Quality Assurance positions throughout the world. Previous adult education experiences involved presentation and development of learning events for both military and civilian members of the DOD. Her assignments included extensive travel to and residence in international location points such as Germany, the Philippines, Asia, South and Central America and various other locations throughout the United States. Currently, she is a key associate with Training and Consulting, Inc. of San Antonio, Texas, a forward-looking organization which provides support and training for the executive level on professional development and other management philosophies.

Ted served as the NEWWA primary contact and responsible party for IACET for 20 years. He has served as a commissioner for IACET since 2008.
