Course Design

Designed to leverage the benefits of 21st century credentialing technology, IACET’s Foundations of Open Digital Credentials empowers learners — veteran and novice alike — to implement modern-day recognition across all their learning experiences. Over the course of a two-week period, featuring two live facilitated sessions with an expert instructor and two eLearning modules created through a diverse network of subject matter experts, learners will discover the intricacies of curating open digital credentials within an adult learning organization, providing opportunities and avenues for promoting events, increasing engagement, and improving learner retention.

Upon Completion, attendees will not only have the necessary knowledge, skills, and motivation needed to design and execute a successful open digital credential program but also the tools and templates necessary to bring immediate and measurable impact back to their stakeholder.

Course Modules include:

  • Module 1: The Digital Training Ecosystem
  • Module 2: Digital Credential Structures and Ecosystems
  • Module 3: ODC Program Design and Infrastructure
  • Module 4: Continuous Integration, Rollout, and Improvement
