Important Update Regarding Reaccreditation! Maintaining Your Accreditation image

If your accreditation expiration date is within the first nine months of 2024, you will want to pay close attention to the information below!

Maintaining Your Accreditation

As an IACET Accredited Provider, to maintain your accreditation you must submit your Annual Report each year on or before your accreditation anniversary date. In the fifth year, you must submit a Reaccreditation Application and complete the review process before your accreditation expires to renew your accreditation. It is essential that your Reaccreditation Application be submitted a minimum of 90 days prior to your accreditation expiration date to avoid late penalty fees.

Steps for Reaccreditation

The steps for reaccreditation are the following:

  1. Purchase the Reaccreditation Application for $495 (It will be made available in your Online Store 15 months prior to your accreditation expiration date.)
  2. Complete the application by uploading the requested documentation in the online Accreditation Management System (AMS) portal.
  3. Submit the application with a total payment of $4,370, which is the Reaccreditation Application review fee of $3,275 and the annual maintenance fee of $1,095 for the first year of the new 5-year accreditation cycle.

Other Important Application Dates

Please keep these dates in mind as you prepare your application:

  • If you have a 2018 Reaccreditation Application, you can submit your completed application by December 31, 2023.
  • Any Reaccreditation Applications submitted on or after January 1, 2024, must use the 2023 Reaccreditation Application.
    • Applications for the 2023 Standard are expected to be available on November 1, 2023.
    • If you are not able to submit your current 2018 Reaccreditation Application by December 31, 2023 and have already purchased a 2018 Reaccreditation Application, you will be given a 2023 Reaccreditation Application at no cost.

Updated Standard Publication Coming in Fall 2023!

Because ANSI accredits IACET as a Standards Developing Organization every five years, IACET will publish a new ANSI/IACET 2023 Standard for Continuing Education and Training this Fall (proposed to be available November 2023) to replace the ANSI/IACET 1-2018 Standard for Continuing Education and Training.
