Announcement

This message provides compliance with IACET Bylaws Article 7, and Article 4, Section B.

On March 29, 2019, the IACET Board of Directors unanimously voted to approve proposed changes to the association's Bylaws.  In addition, the IACET members are required to vote to enact those changes.  Member voting on the proposed Bylaws will begin on May 23, 2019, and last several weeks to ensure members have ample time to consider the changes and make an informed decision.

IACET members can examine several documents related to the proposed Bylaws change:

  1. An introductory letter summarizing the changes from IACET's Chair and Secretary.
  2. The Proposed Bylaws Changes - Clean | Redline
  3. Policies and Procedures do not require a membership vote. However, the Policies and Procedures passed on March 29th by the Board of Directors are contingent upon approval of the new Bylaws. Members can view new Policies and Procedures here as needed.  Clean | Redline

There will be an IACET Member Townhall on May 23, 2019 at 4 p.m. Eastern Time that will feature IACET leaders discussing the proposed Bylaws changes.  Members can register for that virtual town-hall meeting here.

Questions can be submitted at any time regarding the proposed Bylaws changes by emailing BLPP@iacet.org.
