In 2017, there were over 12 million children living in poverty (Children's Defense Fund). It is imperative for educators to understand the foundations regarding the principles of teaching to the poverty mindset, if the goal is to help people (students) out of poverty. 
By the end of this webinar attendees will be able to: 
- Identify poverty and its effect on the student mindset. 
- Employ the fundamental foundations of teaching students in poverty. 
- Apply the integration of these principles into curriculum using an inclusive approach

Robin Duncan

As the CEO of The RD Duncan Institute for Professional Development, LLC, Robin Duncan provide instruction in the areas of classroom management, poverty, race relationships, power, and privilege and their impact on our society at large. In addition, Dr. Duncan conducts community conversations primarily in the areas of racism and social justice.

He is a licensed and ordained minister, a certified relationship coach, a certified life coach/ mindset regulation coach, and an adjunct professor of general psychology, psychology in the workplace, human relations for educators, and multiculturalism for criminal justice/law enforcement students.
