In 2017, there were over 12 million children living in poverty (Children's Defense Fund). It is imperative for educators to understand the foundations regarding the principles of teaching to the poverty mindset, if the goal is to help people (students) out of poverty.
By the end of this webinar attendees will be able to:
- Identify poverty and its effect on the student mindset.
- Employ the fundamental foundations of teaching students in poverty.
- Apply the integration of these principles into curriculum using an inclusive approach
