Over the last year, NIGP: The Institute for Public Procurement, a non-profit education provider for the public procurement discipline, systematically reevaluated how we engage our learning community. Building upon traditional learning methodologies, we embarked on a new journey, incorporating competency models, certificates and traveling badges, and learner-centrism alongside a new learning management system to cultivate learner-led experiences based on individualized professional goals. While not new, these individual facets combined to transform NIGP’s learning capability, revolutionizing our learning landscape to provide practical and impactful learning experiences for new and returning members alike.
