The Nominations and Elections Committee is seeking nominations from the membership to fill vacancies on the Board of Directors. Directors serve a three-year term beginning on January 1, 2027. Directors will be invited to attend the 2026 Annual Board meeting (October 29-30).

Key considerations for nominees should include years of service and past contributions to IACET, as well as the ability to lead IACET in the years to come. Board members actively participate on and chair committees and task forces, provide leadership and vision to develop and implement policy and projects, oversee the financial health of the organization, and represent IACET to the public.

How to Nominate a Candidate: Candidates must self-nominate and complete the nomination form, video submission and other required documentation.

Completed application packages are due by June 8, 2026, at 9:00 am EDT (GMT-4). Any nominations submitted after the deadline will not be considered for the Director position.

All candidate documentation will be reviewed by the Nominations and Election Committee, and a slate of candidates will be chosen. Candidates will be notified of the outcome of the Affiliate and Board votes. Please direct questions to Missy Thompson at missy@iacet.org or 703-763-0705 ext. 105.
