Innovation rarely happens in a single step. It grows from a clear understanding of a real need, thoughtful decisions, honest evaluations, failures, and the willingness to adjust along the way
In this session, School of Medical Devices (SMD) will share its experience in continuing education and instructional design for highly regulated industries such as medical devices and pharmaceuticals. The session will also explore how SMD’s iterative and collaborative work with its ecosystem is helping the organization evolve its learning model, methodologies, and tools into a scalable EdTech platform.
Through this real-world experience, we will explore how customer needs, internal evaluation, lessons learned, and continuous improvement have guided our journey from its early stages to its continued evolution.
Participants will gain practical insights into how organizations can identify opportunities for improvement, evaluate current practices, learn from challenges, and make informed adjustments that drive stronger results over time. Whether the focus is developing a new learning solution, introducing technology, redesigning a program, or improving an existing process, the session will offer actionable takeaways applicable across a wide range of organizational settings.
