Last year alone, InsideTrack’s Learning & Development Team trained over 2,690 staff on the power of coaching. Our coaching methodology is designed to help individuals advance their career and educational goals.

In this workshop, you will learn simple trauma-informed (or healing centered) coaching techniques that help move individuals toward a mindset of learning and growth. Come prepared for an experiential learning environment and an engaging, collaborative workshop on coaching skills and framework. Trainees will walk away with tangible tools that you can immediately put into action and apply to your work.

  • Discuss how trauma impacts the brain
  • Identify the role trauma plays into learner’s mindset and behavior
  • Share examples of healing centered approaches to take when working with individuals

Anna Kern

Anna has worked as coach, project manager, needs assessment specialist, quality specialist, and trainer since joining InsideTrack in 2013. Her coaching and training portfolio includes undergraduate, graduate, online and traditional learners at non-profit, for-profit, private and public universities. Anna nerds out on how trauma impacts the brain and has done extensive research on how to implement stronger trauma-informed approaches to student work.  

Anna earned her Coach Observation Certification, Trainer Certification, and Project Manager Certification through InsideTrack and has been developing students, coaches, managers, faculty, and Student Services staff across the country since 2014. Anna has a Bachelor’s Degree from the College of Charleston in Communication with a concentration in Corporate and Organizational Communication and a minor in Jewish Studies. 

In her free time, she enjoys hiking and camping in National Parks, teaching yoga, and being involved with her family farm in East Tennessee.
