Job aids are the staple of adult training. They're easy to reference and not nearly as intimidating as bulky manuals. But, if they aren't designed well, you run the risk of handing out materials that will be thrown out and teaching concepts that will be quickly forgotten. In this session, Mimeo will share lessons learned from their training customers on how to design and distribute effective job aids that make your training "stickier".
By the end of this webinar, you will be able to:
- Describe what a job aid is and why it's effective
- Explain how to connect a job aid back to learning objectives
- List basic graphic design principles for job aids
- Glean "tips from the trenches" for handing out job aids
Katie Flanagan is marketing manager at Mimeo, the print solution for busy trainers. For this webinar, she draws on Mimeo's experience printing job aids for hundreds of trainers every day to identify best practices (and a few wrong-turns to avoid).
