Self-Audit Checklists: Essential to the Annual Report

Each year, on their anniversary, Accredited Providers (APs) are required to submit an annual report along with membership dues.  The annual report with a self-audit is a requirement for maintaining accreditation and is essential for an organization’s ability to continue to claim IACET AP status and issue IACET CEUs.

You have earned accreditation. Well done!  This is not the end however, but merely the beginning of your relationship with IACET.  For the application to have been successful, you had to provide important documentation to show compliance.  This continues on an annual basis as long as you are an accredited provider.  You will need to submit documents and answer questions to maintain your status as an Accredited Provider. 

Accreditation Tip of the Month - Documenting Processes in Your Application

One of the most common exchanges between an applicant and the IACET reviewers is the return of an application due to some deficiency in documented processes.  The application for initial accreditation asks for the provider to submit to the reviewers, processes for most aspects of the instructional design and delivery functions of the organization.  These processes are what make up most of the day to day work flow for the people in the training/education department of the organization.
