TO: All IACET Accredited Providers
FROM: IACET
DATE: February 4, 2016

IACET has been contacted by the United States Department of Commerce and asked for a list of IACET accredited training providers who would be interested in the following opportunity:

Saudi Aramco LogoSaudi Aramco, the world largest corporation based in Saudi Arabia, is planning to build 25 vocational training centers within the next 5 to 10 years. Each training center will be specialized in a certain discipline/industry (See the list of disciplines below).  The client’s objective is to prepare and qualify the local workforce to take on certain jobs in these industries.

I have attached a list of the jobs along with the industries, in order of descending priority, as some centers are coming along faster than others. Five (5) centers are nearing operational stage and Aramco is looking for a few reputable and accredited international training providers, on a turnkey, long-term (10 year) contract basis, to operate the facilities. Each training provider would handle several centers, as per their specialization and scope of work. IACET is not aware of additional details beyond this. More information will be made available through the Department of Commerce.

If your organization is interested in this opportunity, and would like IACET to forward your organization’s information to the Department of Commerce, please reply toCEO@iacet.org  with the contact information for your organization, before Monday, February 8th and 8 a.m.

Immediately after, IACET will forward the list of interested accredited providers to the Department of Commerce for follow-up. Only accredited providers who are current with their accreditation or in the renewal process will be eligible to be included on the list.
