Apply for IACET Authorized Provider Status

Application for IACET Authorized Provider status is an opportunity for organizations conducting continuing education and training to benchmark current operations to the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) approved IACET Continuing Education and Training Standard. Organizations applying for IACET Authorized Provider status are asked to:

1. Determine organizational eligibility;
2. Read the IACET Authorized Provider Application Guide;
3. Complete the IACET Standard Inquiry Form; 
4. Purchase and download the ANSI/IACET 1-2007 Standard and application package;
5. Consider attending an IACET AP workshop;
6. Review the Standard, including the minimum requirements, interpretations, and intent of each standard category element, and attachments and glossary of terms;
7. Conduct an internal audit of current policies, procedures, and processes used in (a) the administration of its continuing education and training program, and (b) the planning, implementing, and evaluation of its learning events;
8. Modify any policies, procedures, and/or processes to ensure compliance to the ANSI/IACET 1-2007 Standard and show evidence of these modified policies, procedures, and/or processes being implemented for at least 3 months; and
9. Submit compliant policies, procedures, and processes for IACET Commission review and approval.

Submission of the Completed Application   

1. Two (2) spiral bound hard copies of the completed application with all attachments must be submitted. The spiral bound copies must be organized and tabbed for each of the 10 standard categories. Additional documents required for each standard category that cannot be bound easily, such as marketing brochures, should be put into top-loading, clear-sheet protectors and included in the appropriate section.
   
   Please note: Applications submitted in 3-ring binders or that exceed 3 inches in width will be returned.
   
   
2. Submit one (1) additional copy of the completed application, including attachments scanned and bookmarked (tabbed) in a single PDF file on CD-Rom for IACET archiving purposes.

3. Mail the two (2) spiral bound applications, the CD-Rom copy and the application fee to:
