Part One: The self-directed e-learning module is designed to provide you a foundation built on theory and solid design principles prior to the virtual workshop.
Part Two: On May 23 & 24 (10:00 am ET to 4:00 pm ET), you will delve deeper into the open digital badging ecosystem through the instructor-led, virtual workshop that helps you design and develop an operational badging program within your organization.
Part Three: On June 21 (10:00 am ET to 2 pm ET), you will showcase your open digital badge and detailed plans for a badging program. In this final half-day session, you will have 15 minutes to present your finished badge and plans for further program development and to see other participants' progress.
At the end of this session, you will be assessed on proficiency based on instructor evaluation of the open digital badge and proposed program.

Meghan Conan is the Program Manager of Live Training at ASTM International. Is that role she has worked on the development of the ASTM Learning Center for online learning and implemented ASTM’s Digital Badging program. Meghan holds a Master’s Degree in Adult Education and Training from The University of Phoenix and a Bachelor’s degree is Business Administration and Human Resource Management. She is also a Certified Virtual Event Producer and a Certified SCRUM Master.
Meghan is a member of several professional organizations including The Project Management Institute, The Association for Talent Development and active on the IACET Energy Advisory Board.

Success in a learning event is dependent on active participation and engagement by the attendee throughout the course. In order to earn a course completion certificate and digital badge for any IACET learning event, attendees are required to fully participate in the training activities, lectures, and discussion. This applies to those attending in-person and remotely. Participation is defined as greater than 90% attendance of the scheduled course time and active engagement verified by the facilitator. Remote participation requires a working webcam and microphone; the webcam must be activated throughout the learning event.
Full refunds are available for cancelations with written notification to info@iacet.org within 20 days of the event. Refunds of 50% of the registration are available within 10 days of the event. No refund is available 5 days prior to the event due to prepaid expenses on behalf of the participant.
